EDUCA Consortium Meeting was a success

This fall, the EDUCA Flagship Consortium Meeting brought our researchers together in Turku for two intensive and inspiring days. The theme of the event was "Shared Perspectives on the Future of Learning".

The first day brought together doctoral researchers participating in the EDUCA Doc pilot programme and their supervisors. Participants heard career stories and practical advice from EDUCA postdoctoral and senior researchers and had the opportunity to exchange thoughts and experiences with them. The programme also included a CV workshop and tips on how to make the most of LinkedIn for career development.

On the main conference day, Professor Pekka Abrahamsson from Tampere University invited us to explore the opportunities AI offers, while Assistant Professor Frank Martela turned our attention to some fundamental questions: What does it mean to be human, and what lies at the heart of human well-being?

There were also great round-table discussions, new research ideas shared and a surprise choir performance.
