JYU and UCLA strengthen their collaboration

The Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Jyväskylä and UCLA's School of Education and Information Studies have signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of strengthening international cooperation between the faculties in the areas of research, education and professional development.

Cooperation may be further developed through, among other things, teacher exchanges in teacher education and in the EDUCA research focusing on young people’s use of social media, media education and social media literacy.

“We are very happy to have the opportunity to deepen our collaboration with UCLA. Our shared interests and expertise in research and education provide an excellent foundation for an international partnership that will benefit researchers, students and educational communities in both countries,” says Professor Marja-Kristiina Lerkkanen, PI of EDUCA Flagship and Dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology at the University of Jyväskylä.
