Learning variability, interaction, and support in learning contexts
The aim of research area 2 is to create a novel understanding of the complex mechanisms and interactions of individual and contextual factors underlying learning variability and consequences of this variability on subsequent short- and long-term educational paths. Learning variability will be addressed at different levels ranging from moment-to-moment processes to major contextual changes and environmental influences.
The research area is led by Academy Prof. Katariina Salmela-Aro (University of Helsinki), Prof. Eija Pakarinen (University of Jyväskylä), LT Katja Upadyaya and Prof. Niina Junttila (University of Turku). You will find all the researchers here.
